Anthony T Oliveira
Real Estate Experience: 1980 to Present
- As a principal, agent of, or fiduciary board member Tony has been part of more than $1 billion business transactions and development in all sectors of real estate and private equity domestically and globally. He has served on more than twenty boards of directors in both general law and fiduciary capacities. As a fiduciary board member of CalPERS for six years he served on the investment committee and chaired the finance and risk committees. In 2009, and appointed by the board of directors, he led the largest internal review of a public pension fund in US history when he assessed the real estate portfolio of CalPERS following the onset of the great recession. He currently serves as a fiduciary board member for a multinational real estate fund (Tamina Homes Inc.) managed by MAN Fund Management London England.
- As the founder and broker of Valley Trust Realty his focus is on all the sectors of real estate with special emphasis in single family, multifamily, commercial and agriculture properties and investment in Central California.

- He has been an active member of 21 startups in several areas including agriculture, retail, banking, newspaper, food service, and real estate development. These businesses have been in both the private and public sectors located in the US, Mexico, South America, Asia, and Europe.
Professional and Academic: 1989 to Present
- He has been a practicing economist since 1989 and has been part of several major research papers including value added agriculture in California, the legalization tax effects of cannabis in California, and the economic impacts of the California High Speed Rail on the San Joaquin Valley. As a college adjunct professor, he teaches business law, accounting, and economics. He served 12 years as a Kings County Board of Supervisors and as a member of the California State Association of Counties (CSAC) during the same period, including as the president of the association.

Tony has an MBA from Pepperdine and has completed all required course work for his PhD in public policy from Walden University.
